Though Juniata's chosen Prom date of Saturday, April 26th may seem far off, the Junior Prom committee has taken many strides toward decision making in regard to the event. This year’s chosen theme is Botanical Garden; those in attendance should expect to see both florals and greenery decking out the gymnasium. Students can choose to match their apparel to the theme or just simply enjoy the decorations and photo areas provided without the stress of any theme-coordination— either way the Prom committee will ensure the gymnasium is unrecognizable. Along with the enchanting setting, a large charcuterie board will be provided at the dance for everyone to enjoy.
The Junior class recently received Krispy-Kreme fundraiser forms and are expected to sell at least 11 dozen boxes of donuts in order to attend. There is also a $65 buyout option for those juniors who wish to attend without selling. Seniors, as always, are permitted to attend the Prom for free. Guests who are not Juniors or Seniors must be in at least ninth grade and no older than 20 years of age.
