The National Honors Society Babysitting Night had a great turnout this year. There were many activities for the kids to choose from such as soccer, basketball, tag, and dodge ball. There were over 50 kids that came and many said how much they enjoyed it and did not want to leave. There was also a big Hot-Wheels set with many cars that the younger kids adored. There were Christmas themed arts and crafts which were assisted by the high schoolers. Snacks and movies were also played in the auditorium making it hard for the kids to choose what to do. About an hour and a half in, there was a surprise visit from Santa and his elves. The kids were able to tell Santa what they wanted and the elves would write it down. Later into the night, the Grinch made an appearance. This event lasted from 6-10 p.m. so the parents could go Christmas shopping. Overall, the babysitting night was a success!
