JCSD is now closed. Due to ongoing snow showers, blowing snow, snow-covered roads in our outlying areas, and hazardous conditions on many secondary roads, all schools will be closed today. Although main roads are clear, the safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority.

EJES Musical Theater Fundraiser: Bunnies and Brushes
Join us Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 6:00-8pm for a special Paint Together Night. Bring your child and enjoy an evening of creativity, laughter, and quality time as you paint side by side. All age levels welcome, no painting experience is needed—just come ready to have fun and make memories together. In light of a recent incident in our community involving a child being forced into a van, we urge all parents and guardians to speak with their children about the dangers of interacting with strangers.
Please remind your children to stay alert, never approach or accept anything from strangers, and to seek help immediately if they feel unsafe.
If you witness any suspicious activity, report it to local authorities immediately. Your vigilance can help protect our community.

Good evening Juniata County School District families! Open House will be held tomorrow, Friday, August 22, 2025, from 2pm to 4pm at each school building. Please feel free to stop by and visit your classroom and teacher. School will be back in session on Monday, August 25, 2025.
